31 October 2020 | By

Dark Matter plays a crucial role in the evolution of our Universe. On Thursday 29th October, Dr. Christian Ohm gave a live public talk on Youtube on the extraordinary mystery of Dark Matter. He discussed the importance of Dark Matter in particle physics and how the ATLAS experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider is used to search for it.

Dr. Ohm is a researcher with KTH Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm, Sweden, and has worked on the ATLAS experiment since 2006. His research focuses on searching for physics beyond the Standard Model, including scenarios that could explain what the Dark Matter in our universe is made of.

This event is part of a series of ATLAS Live Public Talks held on YouTube. You can watch more in the dedicated YouTube playlist.
