Max Swiatlowski

Max Swiatlowski

Max is a postdoctoral fellow at the Enrico Fermi Institute at the University of Chicago, and has worked on ATLAS since 2009. His work focuses on searches for supersymmetry, an exciting potential extension of the Standard Model which predicts many new particles the Large Hadron Collider might be able to produce. When not colliding particles, he can be found cycling, hiking, going to concerts, or playing board games.

BOOST outreach and Particle Fever

Conferences like BOOST are designed to bring physicists to think about the latest results in the field. When you put 100 experts from around the world together into a room for a week, you get a fantastic picture of the state of the art in searches for new physics and measurements of the Standard Model.
