The online edition of the European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics (EPS-HEP) kicks off today. This weeklong event – held from 26 to 30 July, 2021 – will virtually unite hundreds of particle physicists around the world. It is organised by the High Energy and Particle Physics Division of the European Physical Society, and is one of the major international conferences in the field. This is the first year that EPS-HEP has been held virtually since its establishment in 1971.

Members of the ATLAS Collaboration have prepared a wide range of results in anticipation of EPS-HEP. These will be presented throughout the week, and will include several new analyses of the full LHC Run 2 dataset (recorded 2015–2018). Look forward to new observations of rare processes, precision measurements of the Higgs boson, novel searches for new physics processes and more.

Key results will be explored in ATLAS Physics Briefings, to be released throughout the conference. Check the EPS 2021 tag for the latest updates.
