Visit Description
The physics department at Washington College offers a course (Phy252) in programming and data analysis, primarily for science and engineering students, but non-science students also enrol in this course. Students enrolled in this course will analyze ATLAS open data as part of the course offered in spring 2024. Virtual Visits to ATLAS and interaction with scientists will be part of the course requirement taught by ATLAS physicist Suyog Shrestha. Even though the primary audience consists of physics students and faculty, all campus community members will be invited to attend.
